Summer Camp at SLO Classical Academy has become an event that both SLOCA and non-SLOCA families look forward to each year!  We offer the community a hands-on, exciting summer camp option the "SLOCA way," which always includes historical learning hidden somehow in the magic of music, drama, and art.

Announcing our 2014 Novel Adventures Summer Camps!

  • For students entering 4th through 9th grade, join us as we go 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea!

Think deep-sea adventure! It begins as a mystery…there have been numerous  underwater encounters with something that no one is able to identify! Is it a whale? A shipwreck? Why is it moving? What could it be? Dive with us down to the depths of the vast ocean waters- exploring and searching as we uncover clues to solve the mystery….

We'll be doing things like making periscopes, learning what kind of ocean animals live where and in what habitats, studying the Nautilus, learning how to navigate the sea, various ocean arts and crafts, etc.

  • For students entering 1st through 3rd grade, we’re off to see the Wonderful Wizard of Oz!

Follow the Yellow Brick Road with us this summer as we adventure into the world of oz.  Join us for all sorts of summer fun - a rainbow treasure hunt, tornado science experiment, creating wands and characters, yellow brick road game, and special activities and challenges to earn a brain, heart and courage medals.

  • And for our 3 year old (must be potty-trained) to entering Kindergarten students, explore the magical world of fairytales at our Preschool Fairytale Camp!

Choose one or two weeks - each week is a new adventure:
