August 9th, 2017
1. Questions – Encourage questions today. What do you want to ask your kids? What do your kids want to know? Play a question game like 20 Questions, Guess Who?, 5 Second Rule, Wits and Wagers, etc.
2. Quiz – Aren’t we supposed to be practicing math facts over the summer? Have kids make quizzes for each other, about math or any other subject. Or let your kids make a quiz for you!
3. Quiet – Enjoy a moment of silence, play quiet games…
4. Quote – Pick one of your favorite quotes and find a creative way to display it in your home, to encourage all who read it. Here are some fun suggestions.
"Live in the sunshine. Swim in the sea. Drink in the wild air."
~Ralph Waldo Emerson
